The walks in the green
Ischia is a jewel of a thousand facets. In every corner of this paradise can enjoy picturesque views and rediscover nature in all it is splendour. Centuries of life, have sailed on hills and slopes, walking paths in the past distinguished guests from the island of Ischia. True and their treaties were written on the healing waters of Ischia, already famous at the time of Romany, meticulously describing the splendor of the landscape, woods and gardens of the island. Letters and poems, telling of days elapsed during delicious stays Ischia, from the visitors who attended, leaving a trail of a beautiful environment, to be rediscovered retracing the paths of the past. If we move away the more civilized part of the island, we discover, through the old paths, an oasis of natural beauty and unique patch of land, cultivated still lives with the same techniques of a thousand, two thousand years ago. The cellars dug in soft tuff Open, the famous parracine (wall) in support of the terraces along the slopes of the mountain, are the only traces that man has left in centuries of coexistence with this land. Unfortunately still, there is no policy to safeguard and protect the territory, so as to protect this wealth, uncontaminated until a few years ago, risking with the arrogance with which the company makes, to destroy centuries of history and a millennial balance between men and nature. Few and osseous are trying to exploit this great heritage, the area of the forest park of Maddalena and paths of lizard, is the only example, positive regeneration and protection of territory also for tourism. Many others, and equally beautiful are the places and paths to be exploited before it remains not only the memory of having those routes, could not help but to describe them love even to those who could not be so lucky to be live in the first person. Turn to skilled local guides, or advice of the islanders who love nature, it is still the best way to discover and experience the beauty of green.
